United to face six-time winners Sevilla in Europa League quarter-finals

Manchester United have been handed a sensational tie against six-time winners Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-finals.

Europe's secondary competition's specialists stand in the Red Devils' way as Erik ten Hag looks to add more silverware to his maiden campaign at Old Trafford.

Should United progress, they will face an equally difficult semi-final against either Juventus or Sporting, who were paired together in the last-eight draw.

The Old Lady have won the competition three times in their history, while Sporting dumped out Premier League leaders Arsenal on penalties to reach this stage.

Eredivisie leaders Feyernood have an intriguing two-legged encounter with Jose Mourinho's Roma, while Bayer Leverkusen are up against Belgian surprise package Union Saint-Gilloise.

Arne Slot's men have enjoyed a superb campaign as they hunt down their first domestic title for six years alongside their European exploits this term.

The Giallorossi beat Feyernoord in the final last season's inaugural Europa Conference League and are another side well in the running to reach the showpiece in Budapest.
